PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method including evaluation of an overall quality of service in a communication network so that security is maintained even through a base station in the communication between two mobile terminals in a wireless LAN. SOLUTION: In a communication network including at least one access portion AP1 and having a wireless part including at least a first mobile station MTa and a second mobile station MTb, when the first and second mobile stations enter into communication through the access point, the access point broadcasts a message of creation of a temporary sub-network, constituted by the first and second mobile stations, in which the first mobile station is in direct communication with the second mobile station. The creation message includes an evaluation of the overall quality of service of the communication network before the creation of the sub-network. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
