<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact reader/writer dispensing with a power supply such as a battery cell and electrically insulated from an information terminal and a communication system using it. <P>SOLUTION: This non-contact reader/writer is formed by a communication port for receiving a starting signal, a central processing part started in response to a starting signal received at the communication port, a photoelectric converting part for converting light to electricity, and a power storage part for storing electricity converted by the photoelectric converting part. The communication system includes a non-contact reader/writer in which the communication port and the photoelectric converting part are disposed on a joint surface to the other device, and a portable communication terminal device having a projecting part for projecting light to the photoelectric converting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
