<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server capable of confirming the adequacy of acquired use information in the case of acquiring the use information of image data in exchange for the image data. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 obtains, in an image distribution and use information registering part 36, use information 24 including information, such as the ID of a user (retail shop) of the image data, the data of using the mage data and a place for using the image data on a network in exchange for distribution of image data 20.
