PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a belt photoreceptor from vibrating by preventing the deformation of the belt photoreceptor due to sucking, and then, to obtain a stable image. SOLUTION: As for the electrophotographic printer provided with the belt type photoreceptor and a brush for cleaning the photoreceptor by sucking with rotation in contact with the photoreceptor, toner is separated from the sucked air including the toner, thereafter, the air is returned near the brush.
