PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency heating device capable of effectively radiating microwaves on a heated object by adjusting radiation distribution of the microwaves as they are visualized. SOLUTION: Provided with an adjustment means 13 of radiation distribution of microwaves fitted inside a heating chamber 2 and a plurality of discharge lamps 10 with discharge gas sealed and arrayed in the heating chamber, the high-frequency heating device is structured so as to change a luminous state of the discharge lamps 10 by operating the adjustment means 13 of radiation distribution of the microwaves. The radiation distribution adjusted can be known by the presence or none of emission of the discharge lamps. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
