PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rotational stability of a reel during the high-speed rotation in a tape cartridge which incorporates the reel wound by tape in a main body case. SOLUTION: The reel 2 comprises a central boss part 4 and a flange 5 bulging to the outer periphery of the central boss part 4. The central boss part 4 and the flange 5 are formed with resins having compatibility to each other and are integrally connected. Filler is mixed into the resin forming the central boss part 4 in order to make specific gravity of the resin larger than that of the resin forming the flange 5. As a result, the occurrence of the deflection during the rotation of the reel 2 is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
