<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meat distribution management system capable of sufficiently maintaining safety and quality of meat distributed in markets. <P>SOLUTION: A base sequence information of DNA for identifying individual livestock is converted to a digital signal to be used as an identifier and fixed to an identification information indicator. The identification information indicator is used for the livestock during a growing stage of the livestock and is used for its meat after meat processing is executed. The identifier read out from the identification information indicator is used for identifying the meat distributed in a market by checking data for reference consisting of information of the livestock and the meat of which the identifier is used as a key of management. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
