PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design supporting device and a method therefor for efficiently performing a simulation by confirming carrying states of a plurality of sheets by making the most of a simulation result of a sheet. SOLUTION: An input part 21 constituted of input devices such as a keyboard and a mouse, a CPU 22 performing an arithmetic processing, a display part 23 constituted of displays of CRT and liquid crystal, a storage part 26 such as a semiconductor memory, an internal recording device 27 such as a hard disc drive, a ROM 28 such as a flash memory recording read only data and programs and a CD drive, and an external recording device 24 such as a CD-R/ RW and a MO process operations, and the operation and data transfer are processed by a main control part 25 via a data bus 29.
