<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an efficient program development processing with minimum miss by effectively utilizing a ghost area that has been considered to have no utility value in a microcomputer loaded with a nonvolatile memory. <P>SOLUTION: This microcomputer loaded with the nonvolatile memory and having the ghost area is provided with a second address decoder 23 for decoding an address for identifying the ghost area, and an arithmetic control module 24 for holding the data of a subject area read from the nonvolatile memory 221, executing, on the basis of an address signal decoded by the second address decoder 23, an arithmetic processing corresponding to the decoded address signal, and outputting the operation result to a data bus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
