<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increased complication of system constitution and reduce the exhaust of hydrogen as much as possible when impure gas is exhausted from a system line to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell 1 system generating power based on the supply of hydrogen-containing gas and oxygen-containing gas is equipped with a valve means 4 selectively exhaust gas on an anode side of the fuel cell 1 to the outside of the system; and a control means 11 exhausting the exhaust gas on the anode side to the outside of the system while the power generation of the fuel cell 1 is continued to purge the impure gas when the impure gas in the anode gas reaches an allowable value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
