<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement center, a settlement system, and a settlement method for enhancing liquidity of small sum funds by constructing an electronic settlement network suitable for exchanging the small sum funds for settling by remitting or receiving the small sum funds between mutual individuals of members. <P>SOLUTION: This settlement center settles electronic cash by constructing the electronic settlement network for connecting the mutual members and mutual settling institutions, and is characterized by having an electronic settling means for paying a drawn-out remittance amount in an account of a preregistered settling institution of a receiver member by drawing out the remittance amount and a commission from the account balance of the preregistered settling institution of a remitter member when accepting remittance request information from the member via the electronic settlement network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
