<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provoke user's interest in provided information to drive users to buy, and to attract attention of the users to securely provide information. <P>SOLUTION: This sale assist service system is composed of an IC card possessed by a user recording information related to the attributes and the name of the user, and instructions related to modes to output the information, and a guide terminal device 1 to read the information related to the attributes of the user from the IC card by an IC card reader/writer 25 when it determines that the user is requesting provision of the information, search for information related to the information from an external memory device 23, and provide the searched information as voice and/or images by a voice synthesizing and outputting part 26 and a display part 27.
