PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device and an image inputting device by which scan time of the whole of one picture of an original can be shortened by reducing waste time which is included in required time for one cycle when the original is read with various reading conditions. SOLUTION: The solid-state image device 17 is provided with light receiving lines (a), (b) in which a plurality of light receiving parts 41a, 41b that store electric charges in accordance with incident light are one-dimensionally arranged by being approximated along the X direction and transfer parts 42, 43 that transfer the electric changes stored in the respective light receiving parts 41a, 41b of the light receiving lines (a), (b) by every light receiving line and the light receiving lines (a), (b) have mutually different light receiving characteristics.
