PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus by which waste of recording paper is reduced by printing character information such as text information on the same space as that for image information, the character information is easily associated with the image information and convenience of a receiver is enhanced. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus is arranged so that the character information is easily associated with the image information on the same space, the convenience of the receiver is enhanced and the waste of the recording paper in such a case that the character information and the image information are separately printed can also be reduced by adding the acquired text information to the image information, editing it so that it becomes printing information to be set in one page of recording paper with the selected size for the text information in which no printing system is stipulated (a step S14) and printing the edited printing information for one page on the recording paper with the selected size by the plotter (S15).
