PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telecontrol device capable of quickly informing a user who is out when electronic equipment driven by the telecontrol device detects abnormality. SOLUTION: The telecontrol device 5 for outputting a telecontrol signal for controlling the electric equipment in a house on the basis of a signal inputted through a telephone line is provided with a telephone line connection part 11, an infrared signal transmitting part 21 for outputting the telecontrol signal, an infrared signal receiving part 22 for inputting the signal transmitted from the electric equipment in the house, and an emergency information part 19 for sending a specific signal out of signals inputted to the receiving part 22 to the connection part 11.
