PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set for realizing an additional function capable of promoting a user to use a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set is provided with a memory 13 for storing a personal information table prepared for each of a plurality of communicating parties, a display 21 for displaying a picture at call incoming, and a control circuit 8. Each personal information table stores communication information associated with the incoming frequency of each communicating party, and the control circuit 8 specifies a caller from among the plurality of communicating parties at the time of call incoming, and reads the communication information stored in the personal information table of the specified caller, and changes an incoming sound and an incoming picture according to the read communication information.
