PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for stably fixing an electric connector to the cover of a computer. SOLUTION: A screw is penetrated in the through hole 50b provided at the cover 50 and the through hole of both fixing parts 34b of the housing in order from the outside of the computer and is tightened stably finally in the positioning hole of an insulator. Thereby, when the electric connector 1 is contacted, the phenomenon of damage of the joint between the both main bodies and between the terminal and the printed board 60 due to unevenness of the force received, when the insertion force is excessive or the insertion angle is not precise, can be prevented.
