PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an organic LED layer with accuracy between adjoining two barrier ribs. SOLUTION: With the manufacturing method of the organic LED display provided with organic LED layers and a pair of electrodes pinching them as well as barrier ribs for zoning the organic LED layers for each pixel, the barrier ribs erected in equal intervals are formed on the substrate and at least one of the organic LED layers is formed between the barrier ribs by the letterpress method with the use of an embrocation for forming LED layers containing an organic material and a solvent, where, a width of the convex parts of a transferring substrate used in the letterpress is to be smaller than an interval of each barrier rib formed between the pixels.
