PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a rib-shaped article of small width and large height in a blade for forming the rib-shaped article. SOLUTION: In the blade 21 for forming the rib-shaped article, a plurality of interdigital teeth 23 are formed on a blade body 22, a paste film 32 is plastically deformed by relatively moving the blade body 22 with respect to the paste film 32 in a predetermined direction while penetrating the interdigital teeth 23 in the paste film formed on the surface of a substrate 31, and a rib- shaped article 33 is formed on the surface of the substrate 31. Regarding the thickness of the interdigital teeth 23, the dimension of a tip part 23c of the interdigital teeth 23 is set to be smaller than the dimension of a base end part 23d, and inequalities 0.005 mm<T<SB>ave</SB><0.5 mm, where T<SB>ave</SB>is a mean value of the thickness of the interdigital teeth 23 in the blade 21 for forming the rib-shaped article.
