PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth image nonuniformity before a transfer process by eliminating the image nonuniformity caused on the surface of an image put on a photoreceptor drum (latent image carrier) in an electrophotographic device using liquid developer (toner). SOLUTION: In a wet developing device, the liquid toner is supplied to the latent image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, and the electrostatic latent image is developed according to electric field based on specified bias voltage so as to form a toner image on the latent image carrier. Then, a flexible blade is made to abut on the latent image carrier on which the toner image has been formed and developed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
