PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor needing information such as a quantization table used for encoding with an irreversible compression encoding system even when encoded data of the irreversible compression encoding system are converted to other encoding data. SOLUTION: The image processor for converting data encoded by the irreversible compression encoding system (hereinafter referred to as encoded data A) into other encoded data (hereinafter referred to as encoded data B) includes: an encoded information extraction means for extracting encoded information such as quantization table used for encoding the encoded data A from the encoded data A; and an encoding means for storing the encoded information together with the encoded data B, and can store the encoded information related to the encoded data A even after the encoded data A are converted into the encoded data B.
