PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information displayed on the screen of a portable telephone also on the screen of an onboard device. SOLUTION: The onboard device 10 such as an onboard navigation device is connected to the portable telephone through a wire or wirelessly. When the connection state is detected, a control device of the telephone 12 supplies display data displayed on the screen to the onboard device 10. A control device of the onboard device 10 displays the display data supplied from the telephone 12 on its screen. Touch switches such as alphanumeric keys of the telephone 12 are displayed on a blank area of the screen of the onboard device 10, so that the telephone 12 can be operated from the onboard device 10.
