A system (102) for providing purchasing metrics that are used to identify purchasing costs savings opportunities. The system includes multiple databases, atlease one processing component, and a reporting component. The databases receives and stores purchasing data from numerous client workstations (104, 106, 108, 110). The processing component (102) cleanses and categorizes data in at least one of the databases. The reporting component (102) enables users to select and display reports on procurement sources(104, 106, 108, 110), wherein reports identify purchasing cost saving opportunities. |
