<p>A wall or ceiling lining system with a required level of X-ray transmission resistance includes a plurality of X-ray transmission resistant wallboards (2, 3) with at least one joint (4) or gap between an adjacent two or more of said X-ray transmission resistant wallboards. Each of the joints or gaps is provided with a wallboard jointing material (8) including at least 30 per cent by weight of barium sulphate or an equivalent. A method of lining a wall or ceiling with a wall or ceiling lining system having a required level of resistance to the transmission of X-rays is also disclosed.</p> |
