A container (10) and method of forming intimately bonded plastic components including a lower base (12) with a closed bottom (16) and an upstanding peripheral wall (18), and an upwardly extending ring (14) telescopically engaged with the base (12) and extending from a lower edge (24) at an intermediate height on said base wall to an upper edge (20) vertically spaced above the base wall to define three distinct zones along the height of the container (10).
