The invention relates to a method for the simultaneous and synchronised use of at least the graphics mode and the voice mode of a mobile telephone terminal which is associated with a cellular network. According to the invention, when a request is made by the terminal, a server transfers the multimodal document (3) to a presentation server (5) which generates and transfers the graphic presentation steps and the synchronisation code to the terminal (1) and the voice presentation steps to a voice server (9). Once the connection has been established, a dialogue is set up between the voice server (9) and the terminal (1). Said synchronisation makes use of a telephone communication identification mode, a voice server (9) indication mode and a mode for the transition to the subsequent graphics step.
