Semi-circular lid members (17, 17) having a spring function for opening and closing the opening in a fine hole (15S) are attached to the inner surface of the cavity in a porous air vent (15), and during vulcanization, the opening in the fine hole (15S) is closed with a minute clearance left between the lid members (17, 17) and the opening in the fine hole (15S) in the porous air vent, thereby reducing the frequency of clogging in the fine hole (15S), while, during cleaning, the dirt adhering to the inner surface of the cavity of a mold (10) is peeled by a physical means, such as blasting, with the lid members (17, 17) closed, thereby removing the dirt in the mold (10). Further, as the need arises, the opening is opened and a cleaning liquid (24) is allowed to permeate the fine hole (15S) to clean the mold (10), removing the dirt in the fine hole (15S).
