The invention concerns an oven-type device for curing flexographic photopolymer plates having absorbed water or solvent during an engraving step, comprising a chamber containing a plurality of parallel sliding trays (2i) each capable of bearing at least one plate, said chamber comprising a fresh air inlet (4) and an exhaust air outlet (5) equipped with an extractor. The invention is characterized in that it comprises pairs of lateral fans (31) arranged head-to-tail on either side of the trays (2i) so that the air stream circulating between two sliding trays or between a sliding tray and a chamber wall is derived from the outlet of a fan of the pair and picked up in the inlet of the other fan of the same pair. Preferably, the lateral fans (3a, 3b) of the exhaust air outlet side are discharge fans and the lateral fans on the fresh air intake side (3c, 3d) are all equipped with heating elements.
