ACCELERATION SENSOR

An acceleration sensor, comprising a weight (12) and a vibrator (10) installed so as to support the weight at the gravity center thereof, wherein when the weight receives an acceleration, a stress according to the acceleration is produced in the vibrator, and since the vibrator is installed so as to support the gravity center of the weight, a specific relation is established between accelerations such as an angular acceleration and a translation acceleration and the magnitudes and polarities of generated charges, whereby different accelerations can be easily detected by using that relation.
