An apparatus for lighting a room from the room's ceiling or wall. The apparatus includes means for lighting including at least one lamp and one transformer electrically connected to the lamp, the lamp being either a low voltage or line voltage lamp. The apparatus includes means for holding the lamp connected to the lighting means. The apparatus includes a panel having at least one hole in which the holding means is disposed.
