<p>A rolling bearing unit for supporting a wheel capable of increasing the traveling performances of a vehicle comprising mainly an acceleration performance and a fuel consumption performance by reducing the torque of a hub rotating together with the wheel, wherein the inner end opening of both end openings of a space having balls (14) and (14) installed therein is closed by a cap (17a) and the outer end opening thereof is closed by a seal ring (16c) having three seal lips, and the rotational resistances of the seal ring (16c) based on the friction of these seal lips with their mating surfaces is limited to within the range of 0.03 to 0.2 N·m.</p> |
