The jacket (1) is preferably made of a strong, waterproof material and can be closed at the front (2a, 2b) with a zip fastener (7). Communication tools and other useful items carried underneath in holsters can be accessed through openings (11a, 11b) left in two horizontal (8, 9) and two vertical seams (10) at the front (2a, 2b) of the jacket (1) and at least one seam along each of the sleeves. All openings (11a, 11b) can be closed with hidden zip fasteners (18b).
