<p>Tights are knitted in one step as tube of textured yarn from one toe to the other, with a gusset in the middle part which clothes the crotch. The middle part has more space than the leg parts so that it clothes from the crotch to the waist. There is a waist slit secured, by a seam or a sawn-on endless elastic band, against laddering. In the region of the gusset, which is rectangular or of other geometric shape, as many tuck loops are formed on all the needles which knit the gusset as their hooks can hold, together with the previously formed stitch loop.</p> |
