<p>The coil is one which must be placed at a predetermined very close spacing from a magnetically influenced piece part. In order that this distance should be accurately maintained, a separator plate or ring is embedded in the casting resin as a spacer. The spacer is of fibre glass reinforced synthetic resin. It may form the base of the resin casting which covers its edges. A cured epoxy resin may be used as casting medium.</p> |
