<p>A voltage generation circuit comprises a first input node to which AC voltage is input, a second input node to which a predetermined reference voltage is input, a first switching element connected between the first input node and an output node, a second switching element connected between the second input node and a control terminal of the first switching element, and a third switching element connected between the control terminal of the first switching element and the output node. Control terminals of the second and third switching elements are connected to the first input node.
