A hub gripper (20) holds and rotates a hub (50) on a wheel axle along with a measurement sensor (58). Fitted on the hub gripper there is a defined contact surface (52) for aligning and/or for defining set-up of the hub gripper on the hub or on a brake disk for the wheel axle. The wheel axle is set at a defined position on an assembly line in order to adjust the drive and trail angle more accurately.
