Textile texturing machine, has individual thread feed with frequency converter regulation of motor drive at work station

A textile machine simultaneously textures numerous individual synthetic threads at individual work stations within the machine. One or more of the work stations (10) has an individual electric drive (27) regulated by a frequency converter (30). The drive (27) esp. has a non-synchronised start-up unit which spools up the work-station (10) until this reaches a target frequency. During the texture process, each thread is transported, textured, stretched and then wound onto a bobbin. The drive further has a synchronising device which maintains the target frequency. The non-synchronic unit is a non-synchcronic motor incorporating one or more field magnets on the rotor.
