The present invention is a system and method to facilitate the hoisting, positioning, installation and removal of continuous track drive units. Continuous track drive units are used as a means for propelling certain vehicles, such as farm tractors, construction machines and military vehicles. The present invention allows for simplified, efficient handling and transfer of continuous track drive units.
