<p>The inventive method for producing the volume image of a bi-dimensional object consists in placing a device (4) between the picture plane (2) of the bi-dimensional image of an object and a spectator. Said device comprises a lens raster (1) provided with a set of lenses (5) which have the same focal power 1/f on a sagittal or meridian cross-section of said raster. The lenses are disposed on a bearing surface in such a way that the distance between the principal planes (9) of any two lenses on said sagittal or meridian cross-section is equal to or less than the focal length f thereof. At least two lenses of said set are arranged in such a way that the distance between the two principal planes thereof is at least equal to 0.5f. Said device is placed between the picture plane (2) of the bi-dimensional image of the object and the spectator in such a way that the distance between the picture plane and the principal plane of any lens of the raster is equal to or less than 1.5f.</p> |
