The plate had defined, geometrically-modified surface relief reproduced fully or in part, on model carriers in all dental devices. Thus all plaster casts made on the plate, can be mounted and carried on matching devices. Hence they interlock strictly with the plate alone. All parts forms a replication system. Transfer of the plate relief ensures matching with contact- or carrier faces.
