The wheel unit comprises a frame (10) with upright wall for fixing on bottom of suitcase, and a roller unit (20) which fits in open inner space of frame and comprises a roller (21), axle running through same and two axle arms (22) pivotally connected to the two ends of the axle. A pin (33) runs through an upper section of the axle arms to pivotally engage with a side part (31) and an elastic part (32) connected to the pin has in the center a yoke section which presses against the side part which is fixed on the upright wall of the frame.
