The stator includes magnetic core segments (2). These are arranged parallel to the motor shaft (3) and comprise a soft magnetic material. The rotor has magnetic core segments parallel to the shaft. Windings are constructed as wound strip condensers. Independent claims are included for brushless and stepper motor constructions.
