t is disclosed a process designed for the combustion of solid and/or pasty combustible containing from 30 to 70% humidity by weight, and especially for the combustion of humidified lignite. The combustion process is performed in the steam generatorof a power-generating plant with direct combustion of powder. According to the invention, the combustible is dried and ground via one at least grinding and drying installation by introduction of air-turbine exhaust acting as drying and propelling gases whose initial temperature comes up to 400o degrees, at least. A steam generator, which is operable by powedered combustible produced by the power-generating plant (fig. 2), assists the aforementioned combustion process. |
