The heavy vehicle comprises a frame formed from two side frames and crosspieces located at the top of the front and rear structure which are supported on height adjustable corner stays (7). The stays can be raised to a top inclined position where an empty space appears between the upper edge of the structure and the lower edge of the crosspieces. The rear wall comprises a door with two leaves (31,32) fixed on a corner stay and is provided with a covering plate (10.1), for covering the empty space. The covering plate can be fixed on a height adjustable stanchion (39) and guided on the door leaf. An independent claim is included for a heavy vehicle rear door.
