The barrier comprises roll bodies (6) extending over the width of the parking space (3) and provided with a brake, the roll bodies being located in between a front ramp (5) and a rear ramp (4). If an attempt is made to drive an unauthorised car into the space the front ramp will be lowered and the rear ramp left raised, preventing the car from driving over the roll bodies and rear ramp.
