A board game has a ball retrieval structure that includes a plurality of openings spaced along the game board that are sized to permit only the projectile balls to pass through. The ball retrieval structure further includes a pivotal ball collector (240) disposed adjaccent the exit opening (242) to collect the target ball and projectile balls and which is positionable between an open position where the collector is substantially parallel to the playing surface and a closed position where the collector is substantially perpendicular to the playing surface.
