An insert (100) extending into a hollow cavity resonator (101), has a guide channel (122) for bringing reference samples (130a,130b) comprising dosimeter substance, into the resonator. The guide channel is used for receiving and guiding a test strip (124). An Independent claim is also included for sample substance for electron spin resonance dosimeter.
