<p>This relates to an intelligent ink cartridge and method for manufacturing the same. The ink cartridge comprises at least one ink chamber for containing ink, an electronics module for storing identification information of the ink cartridge and ink remaining data. The electronics module comprises a micro-controller with embedded non-volatile memory, for storage, controlling, calculation and accessing of ink remaining data, so that the maximum ink capacity of the ink cartridge for use with the printer can be improved.</p> |
