The composition according to claim 8, comprising a liposome, wherein said liposome comprises lactadherin or a variant thereof covalently associated with in association with antigen or cytokine. 11. An immunogenic composition comprising lactadherin or a variant thereof in association with an antigen. 12. The composition according to claim 11, wherein antigen is protein, polypeptide, peptide, virus or bacteria. 13. A chimeric protein comprising lactadherin or a variant thereof fused to immunogen or immunostimulant polypeptide. 14. A nucleic acid encoding a protein according to claim 13. 15. A liposome comprising a recombinant lactadherin or variant thereof. 16. An immunogenic composition comprising a chimeric protein according to claim 13 or a liposome according to Claim 15. 17. A recombinant virus expressing lactadherin as a surface molecule. 18. A recombinant cell expressing lactadherin as a surface molecule.
