An occupant driven vehicle, such as a wheelchair has rear drive wheels B rotating about common fixed axis E and pair of forward castor wheels C allowing steering of the vehicle. Support castor wheel/s D is/are positioned between wheel sets b and C so that the centre of gravity of the vehicle lies between support castor wheel/s and drive wheels B. In use support castor wheel/s D act to prevent castor wheels C falling into ruts, grooves or gaps in the floor or ground.
